I  made that pasta again– the one with cherry tomatoes, basil, and brie about which I keep writing, bragging, oohing and awing. Recently, I’ve fallen hard for brie. As someone genetically prone to high cholesterol, this may be problematic.

While this recipe’s not necessarily healthy, it’s consistently delicious– the kind of simple comfort food perfectly suited to summer. It was the best accompaniment to a lot of reading that I can imagine.

P.S. I realize I’ve posted a lot of simple-carb-centric recipes lately. Expect some vegetable dishes later in the week. I’m working on perfecting a French green bean dish…
